Job Summary: Mon to Fri: 9am-6pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate negotiations and finalize agreements for the sale and purchase of vessels, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Arrange and negotiate chartering contracts, including spot and time charters, aligning with client needs and market conditions.
Monitor and analyze market trends, freight rates, and vessel availability to provide clients with informed advice.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of maritime regulations and industry developments.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, and other stakeholders.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Prepare and review legal documentation related to transactions, such as contracts, charter party agreements, and bills of lading.
Ensure all activities comply with international maritime laws and company policies.
Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business, or a related field.
7 to 10 years of experience in shipbroking, with a focus on S&P and Chartering.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in maritime software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Membership with the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) is advantageous.
In-depth understanding of shipping markets and vessel operations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
