Job Summary

This role is internally known as PD FAST Engineer.

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical support for issues escalated by in-country field service teams and to ensure timely solutions for customer and FSE inquiries. Additionally, the role involves providing on-site technical support within the EA region. This individual will be responsible for developing and enhancing the technical expertise of field service engineers for our Power Distribution Product- LV Switchgear / MV Switchgear / Transformer/ ATS / RMU / Accessories equipment, supporting daily field operations and service business needs.

You will take the lead, in collaboration with the factory Engineering team, in building a competent field services installation and T&C team, and improving the overall customer experience. The role also involves working closely with the East Asia Supply Chain team to develop a spare parts support model that aligns with our warranty obligations. Furthermore, the individual will assist countries in establishing PD spare parts inventory, managing minimum/maximum levels, and ensuring adequate support through regional hubs or factories

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities; - Provide advanced technical support for escalated PD issues, collaborating with in-country field service teams to ensure quick and effective resolutions.

- Deliver on-site technical support within the EA region as required, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

- Develop and enhance the technical skills of field service engineers, ensuring competence in the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PD LVS/MVS equipment.

- Lead initiatives, in collaboration with factory engineering teams, to build a strong field service installation and testing & commissioning (T&C) team.

- Work closely with the East Asia Supply Chain team to establish and optimize a spare parts support model, ensuring alignment with warranty obligations.

- Assist in-country teams in setting up and managing PD spare parts inventory, including monitoring minimum/maximum levels and ensuring adequate support through regional hubs or factories.

- Support daily field operations and serviceusiness needs by providing expert advice and guidance to in-country teams.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

2. Extensive experience in field service, technical support, and engineering for power distribution systems (LV/MV Switchgear).

3. Strong knowledge of troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning procedures for Power Distribution equipment.

4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.

5. Ability to travel frequently across the EA region for on-site support.
