Job description

Company Overview
Our client is a leading global medical technology company, leveraging its cutting-edge imaging and diagnostic technologies to enhance patient care. As a pioneer in medical imaging, they offer a comprehensive range of innovative solutions, from digital X-ray and CT systems to MRI and ultrasound technologies. As they continue to expand their operations, they are now seeking an experienced Senior Service Engineer to join their team and play a pivotal role in driving their growth and development.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform and assist in service repairs, preventative maintenance, and field change orders/installations for MRI equipment.
  2. Identify and resolve customer issues, providing timely communication and resolving equipment issues with internal stakeholders.
  3. Conduct on-demand phone and on-site support as required.
  4. Plan, schedule, and execute planned maintenance activities.
  5. Maintain accurate records and submit required paperwork.
  6. Foster positive customer relationships through non-service call visits and meetings.
  7. Utilize MRI tools to resolve technical problems and during installations.
  8. Escalate critical issues promptly.
  9. Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and sales, to resolve customer problems.
  10. Perform on-site system installations, de-installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  11. Assist in site planning, site surveys, and consultations as needed.
  12. Maintain inventory integrity and support company-wide initiatives.

Key Requirements

  1. 5+ years of experience in superconductive magnets, with a focus on MRI equipment.
  2. Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of superconductive magnet MRI equipment.
  3. Training in superconducting MRI is a plus.
  4. Knowledge of permanent magnet MRI is a plus.
  5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Willingness to travel and work long hours, including standing and handling heavy equipment.
