Job summary

micron semiconductor asia operations pte. ltd. is seeking a validation engineer to execute MBIST and Native mode validations, analyze data, and support hardware readiness and test programs. You will work with Verilog simulations and Python scripting to parse logs and visualize results.

The role requires a Bachelor's or MS in EE/CE and 2+ years in semiconductor validation, with exposure to HBM/MBIST concepts, and collaboration across design, DV, QA, and GQ teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related) with Experience or MS in EE/CE.
• 2+ years experience in semiconductor validation or product engineering (DRAM/HBM preferred).
• Exposure to HBM Validation concepts and flows.
• Basic experience in test platform code development (C/C++, Python) and familiarity with APG (Algorithmic Pattern Generator).
• Understanding of MBIST and Native Mode testing platforms.
• Verilog simulation exposure (running testbenches, interpreting waveforms).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Validation Execution: perform validation runs on MBIST and Native flows.
• Assist in time-bound data crunching and contribute to summary reports.
• Platform & Test Program Support: operate/debug SM3/Cobra and Advantest V93K.
• Hardware readiness: setup handler, socket, loadboard, probe card.
• Verilog simulation tasks: testbench execution and waveform review.
• Develop basic Python scripts for log parsing and data visualization.
• Maintain docs in Confluence/Jira and code in Git/Perforce.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Contributes to AI-enabled enhancements within scope of work.
