Oracle is seeking a Senior SOC Analyst to defend cloud infrastructure and respond to real-time security events across LaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. Qualifications

• 4+ years in Incident Response, SOC, or forensic analyst work.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Experience in collaborative, event-driven operations teams.
• Experience querying across large data sets to derive insights.
• Strong attention to detail and analytic rigor.
• Background in national security, military, intelligence, or law enforcement is a plus.
• Experience with Windows, UNIX/Linux, and MacOS environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Support shifts and on-call rotations.
• Detect and respond to security events and threats from alerts and escalations.
• Lead complex investigations and perform deep analysis for containment and remediation.
• Collaborate with security engineering to improve monitoring and tooling.
• Understand threat landscape and apply to daily monitoring activities.
• Operate SOC tech including SIEM, IDS, SOAR, firewalls, and anti-malware tools.
