Operate Security & Safety Systems

• Central Alarm Monitoring System (CAMS)

2. Regulating Traffic (Road Traffic Act)

• Regulate traffic under Section 142B of the Road Traffic Act

3. Security Command Centre, Fire Command Centre (FCC) Monitoring

• The primary responsibility is providing surveillance through CCTV/CAMS/FCC monitoring
• Maintain CCTV storage libraries
• Preserve evidence

4. Assist Ministries, Statutory Boards, or Government Departments in Law Enforcement Duties

5. Key Press Management

• Exercise control over keys to areas defined as critical or sensitive by the client

[1] Operate means to control the functioning of the listed security & safety systems.

[2] Security Command Centre is the location from which security operations are monitored or directed through the analysis of multiple data streams (e.g., CCTV cameras, security alarms, wireless communication devices, etc.).

[3] FCC has the same definition as Fire Safety (Building Fire Safety) regulation, i.e., a room within any premises specifically designated for command and control of operations in the event of fire or other emergencies, fitted with the necessary equipment.

[4] Duties may include anti-littering, anti-smoking enforcement.

[5] An officer of at least SSO-level is required to control keys that are deemed critical or sensitive by the client. SOs can control keys that are not deemed critical or sensitive by the client.

Working Days: 6 Days

Working Hours: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm

Salary: SO $2870; SSO $3170
