Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance security operations and mitigate security risks and threats.
Partner with appointed security agencies to ensure the smooth execution of daily operations and compliance with security protocols.
Plan and conduct security operations audits.
Comply with Company Safety Rules and Regulations.
Coordinate, schedule, and oversee all security-related activities in areas of assignment adhering to company policies, guidelines, and operating procedures, while maintaining full compliance with relevant regulations.
Facilitate effective communication and coordination within and across Departments.
Oversee the resolution of security-related inquiries, incidents, and emergencies to ensure the security of designated facilities.
Liaise with relevant government authorities and agencies on security-related matters.
Ensure the proper functioning of all security equipment and systems, including but not limited to access control, CCTV surveillance, intrusion detection, and metal detectors, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Prepare weekly and monthly activity reports along with security incident reports, if any.
Manage the issuance of passes for contractors.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualification of GCE ‘O' Level or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in a security supervisory role with proven leadership capabilities.
Possess WSQ Certifications in 'Monitoring & Reviewing Security Operations' and 'Manage Security Agencies within the Legal Framework'.
Valid PLRD Licence.
Certified as Port Facility Safety Officer (PFSO).
Proficiency in security technology systems (e.g., access control, visitor management system, CCTV surveillance system).
Ability to manage security matters outside of regular office hours on occasion.
Proficient in MS Office.
Prior experience with uniformed groups (e.g. SPF) is preferred.
Physically fit and able to perform site walks periodically.
