OPERATION :
A. Perform the following Security Tasks:
I. Static (Security & Fire command center/call center) duties:
- Handling Fire Alarm system and emergency responses.
- Operating Security CCTV Surveillance system.
- Screening/vetting all visitors, delivery personals, contractors going through Security Check points.
- Handling Call Center in-coming and out-going guest calls services and provide guests assistance and follow-ups.
- Keeping the work area neat and operationally viable and prevent unauthorized entry.
II. Lobby (Deterrent and Surveillance of suspicious activities) duties:
- Interact with guests and provide assistance in hospitality matter including safety and security (e.g. luggage safety, provide guests information and services)
- Safety of guest’s arrivals and departures especially elderly and PWD.
- Crowd control and prevent unnecessary congestion.
- Multi-tasking for guest convenience and safety (e.g. avoid slippery floor, assist with guest heavy luggage, taxi & shuttle services etc)
III. Traffic Post (Smooth flow of traffic and safety of pedestrian and road users) duties:
- Directing tour bus and assisting in parking arrangement.
- Prevent traffic congestion at the front driveway.
- Manage reserved parking lots for VVIP arrivals.
- Assist to ease traffic congestion during busy periods.
IV. Security Patrol & Audit Checks duties:
- Conduct systematic security patrol on entire premises.
- Look out for fire safety infringement and risk assessment.
- Deter and detect unauthorized people on the guest’s floors and within hotel sensitive areas and prevent vandalism, arson and trespass.
- Report all abnormal circumstances and findings.
B. Carry out investigation, surveillance and administrative duties:
- Observe and report unusual behavior and conduct of employees or guests in the Hotel.
- Keep close watch of any removal of hotel property and ensure they are authorized and properly documented.
- Intelligent gathering without arousing suspicions.
- Updates Security Manager on security incidents and occurrences and maintains official correspondents.
C. Security, Safety & Rescue Emergency Response:
- Attend all compulsory trainings and meetings in relations to the above matters.
- Attain all Standard Certification as prescribed by the Authorities & Managements.
- Keeping good fitness level and maintain a healthy disposition.
- Know all emergency drill well (Fire, Bomb threat, IPP, Terrorist Attack, etc).
GUEST SERVICE:
- Ensure guest and their personal belonging safety during arrival, check-in process and during check-out.
- Ensure proper deployment to cover guest safety issues for the Car Park, Front-Driveway, lobby and luggage holding areas.
- Provide information about local features such as shopping, dining, nightlife, and recreational destinations.
- Make travel arrangements for sightseeing and other tours.
- Receive, store, and deliver luggage and mail.
- Pick up and deliver items, or run errands for guests.
- Carry out unusual requests such as searching for hard-to-find items and arranging for exotic services such as hot-air balloon rides.
- Arrange for the replacement of items lost by travelers.
- Assisting guests with storage or deposit luggage’s & Send luggage’s to guest rooms.
Any other work-related directive given by Management from time to time.
