Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a senior IT security and network infrastructure professional in Singapore. The role involves delivering secure network solutions, leading projects, and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to meet SLA targets.

The candidate should have 8+ years in large organizations, strong leadership, and multi-vendor network experience (Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortigate, F5, Juniper, Palo Alto, Bluecoat). Banking sector experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Degree in IT or CS or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience supporting network infrastructure in a large organization with project management experience.
• Demonstrate project management skills and strong leadership, capable of managing large scale projects.
• Experience with multi-vendor networks (Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortigate, F5, Juniper, Palo Alto, Bluecoat).
• Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
• Prior experience in banking or financial institutions is an advantage.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CCSA, JNCIA/JNCIP/JNCIE, PCNSE add value.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate good experience and technical proficiency in security centric networks and infrastructure solutions.
• May function as project manager or technical lead coordinating with internal teams, partners/vendors and stakeholders.
• Gather business or application requirements on the network infrastructure to plan, design and implement technical solutions.
• Review existing IT infrastructure and recommend new technology aligned with IT policies and governance.
• Coordinate with external vendors to ensure SLA delivery for systems and applications.
• Prepare and present regular project reports and documentation to stakeholders.
• Provide expertise to regional teams on security and network infrastructure.
