Job summary

Charterhouse Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join a growing cybersecurity team responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise security technologies that protect critical infrastructure and business applications.

This hands-on role covers on-premises and cloud environments, with a focus on SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, IAM, and WAF. You will contribute to security automation and collaborate across infrastructure and operations teams to strengthen security posture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Security Engineering or related role.
• Experience implementing and managing enterprise security technologies (SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, AV, Vulnerability Management, DLP, PAM, IAM, WAF, IDS/IPS).
• Strong understanding of information security principles and networking concepts.
• Experience administering Unix/Linux environments with scripting (Shell/Bash).
• Experience planning, implementing, and deploying enterprise security solutions into production environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support enterprise security solutions across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Administer and optimize security technologies including SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, AV, VM, DLP, PAM, IAM, WAF, IDS/IPS.
• Plan, deploy, and transition security solutions into production with minimal disruption.
• Monitor, investigate and troubleshoot security incidents and alerts across enterprise environments.
• Perform security assessments and drive remediation to strengthen security posture.
• Develop and maintain security automation, scripts, and procedures.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, application, and operations teams to implement security best practices.
