Job summary

Eames Consulting Group in Singapore is assisting a well‑established financial institution to hire a Senior Security Engineer. The role is hands‑on and engineering‑led, focused on designing, building and continuously improving security controls across cloud and on‑premises infrastructure.

You will automate BAU security tasks, embed security into CI/CD pipelines, mentor junior engineers and participate in security architecture reviews.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in a security engineering role, ideally in financial services or regulated industries.
• Breadth across multiple security domains and tools, not narrow specialization.
• Proven automation for security operations with real examples.
• Strong hands-on cloud security experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Solid understanding of network security, IAM and secure architecture principles.
• Scripting ability (Python, Bash) for automation and clear communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls across network, cloud and application layers.
• Identify manual BAU security processes and build automation to improve efficiency.
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Hands-on work across SIEM, EDR, IAM and CSPM tooling.
• Contribute to security architecture reviews for new systems and projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and help set technical standards.
