Job description

Senior Security and Emergency Response Technician

Pfizer Global Supply proudly shoulders the responsibility of manufacturing and distributing our wide-ranging pharmaceutical products.

  • Ensuring that all colleagues, contractors and visitors comply with the site Security Procedures
  • Ensure that the Security Surveillance Equipment are working
  • Mann the Fire Command Centre during Emergencies
  • Supervise and manage normal day/night shift contract security officers
  • Assist the S&ER Supervisor in supervising the Testing and Maintenance of the Fire Protection and Alarm System
  • Assist the S&ER Supervisor during in-house training of ERT colleagues
  • Assist the S&ER Supervisor in ensuring that the sitewide emergency equipment (inclusive of Walkie Talkies, Portable Gas Detectors, Confine Space Equipment, Temperature Screening) are all in good operational condition at all time
  • Monitor the Fire Command Centre and Respond to all Fire alarm activation and liaise with the SICs as Security Coordinator
  • Liaise with contractors to ensure the serviceability of the Site Fire Protection and alarm and Security Surveillance Equipment
  • Liaise with the Site Incident Controller and Emergency Response Team and provide advise and support in responding to Emergency in the site.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Pharmaceutical or Petrochemical Manufacturing Plants or Process related industry. Preference will be given to those with firefighting training at Supervisory level.
