Job description

Job Description & Requirement:

SIFBI seeks to appoint a research scientist in the area of food sensory science and food oral processing. Special interests will be on sensory analysis, consumer behaviour and insight, sensory nutrition, food oral processing, and other emerging topics in relation to eating and sensory perception. The appointed scientist is expected to lead a research team to conduct independent research in above-mentioned topic areas. The candidate should hold a PhD degree in food science, sensory science, psychology, or other relevant disciplines and an appropriate experience of independent research, ideally a postdoctoral experience and have already established expertise in an area relevant to food sensory. The candidate should also have good skills on statistics and big data analysis.

The candidate should demonstrate his/her research achievements with a strong track record of research publications or others, cases of successful funding, industrial collaborations, and social/economic impacts.
