Job Description:
- Preparation of mRNA-loaded polymeric or lipid nanoparticles using a microfluidic device.
- Evaluation of in vitro and in vivo gene transfection efficiency induced by the nanoparticles via intramuscular injection, subcutaneous, or intravenous injection.
- In vitro and in vivo toxicity studies.
- In vivo biodistribution studies.
- Participate in maintenance of equipment and procurement of consumables used for this project.
- Participate in lab safety and general housekeeping of the lab.
Requirements:
- PhD in drug/gene delivery, pharmaceutical science, biomaterials, or biomaterial science.
- Familiarity in gene delivery with non-viral nanoparticles.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Good spoken and written communication skills.
