Job summary

About the role

Works in partnership with customers to develop innovative new concepts as well as renovating current products that are tailor ed to customer’s specificneeds. Coordinates new product launches and run trials at Kerry manufacturing sites. Ensures applications meet regional and global market standards, including criteria such as organic certification, allergen considerations, and GMO regulations. Applies analytical techniques to support research and development projects, while also addressing key operational challenges—excluding QA/QC functions. Maintains global alignment with other analytical teams.

Key responsibilities
  • Increase level of complexity of projects with limited guidance from R&D leads.
  • Lead R&D contact in key customers building strong relationships with R&D customers providing excellent service in terms of concept development, sample delivery, product presentations and process support.
  • Leads and collaborates within cross-functional teams to capitalize on specific customer opportunities.
  • Engages directly with the leadership team in developing cost-effective solutions that align with both customer and business requirements.
  • Maintains expertise in market trends, regulations, customer requirements, and processes.
  • Stays informed on the latest scientific advancements to enhance product innovation.
  • Ensures accurate record-keeping and documentation management.
  • Provides support for customer presentations.
  • Oversees the transition of new product developments (NPD) from concept to factory scale-up, alongside operational support.
  • Conducts lab and pilot plant trials to optimize existing products.
Qualifications and skills
  • MinimumBachelor degree in Food Science or an equivalent field; higher degrees are an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience, with a minimum of 2 years in the Food & Beverage industry.
  • Expertise in Beverage Technologies and Flavour Applications.
