Senior Sales Manager, Singapore/ Malaysia
Reporting to the GM, this role will manage and lead the assigned Customer Group - Energy in Malaysia and Singapore by utilizing the company's sales tools and techniques to plan, execute, and monitor sales objectives and collections to achieve sales budgets, improve customer relationships, profitability, and increase market share.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow Oil & Gas & Renewable Energy business, create new customers, and promote our client’s products by understanding the market, recognizing business opportunities, and developing a strong network to increase market share.
- Conduct regular customer visits and gather market intelligence to achieve budget targets in value, volume, and gross margins.
- Build and nurture relationships with key customers by establishing excellent rapport across hierarchies and providing effective value propositions to increase market share.
- Develop multi-level and multi-functional relationships at all key accounts.
- Enhance customer relationships through prompt responses to sales and technical inquiries, providing suitable coating specifications to secure sustainable market share and promote Jotun as a preferred supplier of high-quality paints and services.
- Manage sales and profitability at the customer level by monitoring and reporting performance to meet annual sales, profitability, and cost targets.
- Ensure projects and key accounts are managed and followed up to meet customer expectations and sales goals.
- Organize, develop, motivate, and lead sales teams by setting clear targets, coaching, supporting, and following up to ensure team effectiveness and efficiency in line with the company culture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas-related business.
- Proven sales record in the Oil & Gas or chemical industry.
- Experience in leading a team with strong cross-departmental liaison skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
