Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Explore and establish both direct and distribution strategies aimed at expanding market presence and driving growth.
  • Maintain active engagement with current and potential customers to identify opportunities, define tailored value propositions, and close deals that contribute to account growth or acquisition.
  • Collaborate closely with key accounts to build strategic business plans that support both revenue generation and profit margins.
  • Translate sales targets into actionable account strategies by developing tailored account plans that align with the broader sales team’s operational objectives.
  • Take the lead in developing innovative business initiatives and ensure their seamless execution, while continually assessing results based on market feedback.
  • Conduct thorough market trend analysis across the region to identify emerging growth opportunities. Use this insight to provide regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, competition, and trends, along with actionable recommendations.
  • Coordinate resources and staff participation in major events such as trade shows and customer roadshows to maximize brand visibility and engagement.
  • Boost sales revenue through the rollout and management of targeted sales programs.
  • Offer specialized support to channel partners, dealers, and internal teams through product demonstrations, expert consultations, and comprehensive training, empowering them to effectively upsell products.
  • Share detailed information on all new product launches with channel partners to enable proper planning and resource allocation aligned with business priorities.
  • Manage national sales forecasting activities, ensuring efficient stock shipment planning and performance tracking against key targets.
  • Continuously assess the accuracy of sales forecasts and rolling estimates, verifying alignment with the overall business strategy and current market insights.
  • Review and interpret sell-out and stock-on-hand data submitted by retailers on a weekly or monthly basis to monitor performance and inventory levels.
  • Support various other responsibilities as assigned on an ad hoc basis.

Requirements:

[Must]

  • Min 3 years of Sales and/or Business Development experience in consumer audio industry or related FMCG industry
  • Comfortable to go on business trips when required (Around 10% of the year)
  • Prior experience in servicing key accounts and distributor partners in Singapore
  • Channel management and understanding of retail store operations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint
