Role Description
The Senior Sales Manager, Southeast Asia is a pivotal role at the heart of MOBKOI’s regional growth strategy. Reporting to the Regional Director, you will lead sales activity across Singapore and the wider SEA region, cultivating senior relationships with agencies and premium brands while unlocking new revenue opportunities.
You will be responsible for nurturing existing client partnerships and driving new media and creative revenue through a hunter mindset — identifying briefs, securing RFPs, and shaping bespoke campaign solutions. This role combines business development, consultative selling, and strategic account growth, making you central to MOBKOI’s expansion in Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Sales Execution
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and outreach to pitch, proposal, negotiation, and closure.
- Build and maintain a healthy, qualified pipeline across agencies and clients through proactive engagement and strategic opportunity development.
- Consistently exceed revenue targets by acquiring new clients, expanding existing relationships, and driving upsell and cross-sell of MOBKOI’s creative and programmatic solutions.
Relationship Management
- Build and deepen senior relationships with decision-makers across agency holding groups, independents, and premium brand marketing teams.
- Develop and manage strong client relationships by understanding business objectives, challenges, and opportunities, ensuring MOBKOI is positioned as a trusted partner.
- Drive thought leadership initiatives, presenting MOBKOI as a strategic partner through workshops, events, and innovative collaboration opportunities.
Strategic Market Development
- Proactively identify and pursue whitespace opportunities with agencies and clients to expand MOBKOI’s footprint and share of wallet across SEA.
- Drive deeper account penetration by mapping stakeholder networks and engaging decision-makers across complex organizations.
- Elevate MOBKOI’s visibility and market positioning through proactive outreach and strategic engagement with planners, buyers, and brand stakeholders.
Consultative Sales & Industry Expertise
- Act as a consultative partner by translating client needs into innovative campaign strategies and bespoke solutions.
- Maintain expertise in MOBKOI’s offerings and the broader digital, programmatic, and mobile-first landscape, staying ahead of emerging trends such as cookieless environments, sustainability, and evolving ad formats.
- Deliver tailored, insights-driven recommendations that drive client conversion, retention, and long-term value.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams across Client Success, Creative, Operations, and Publisher Management to deliver seamless, high-impact solutions to clients.
- Champion client needs and provide market insights to shape product development, campaign execution, go-tomarket strategy, and regional revenue planning.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in digital media sales, adtech, or media agencies, with a proven record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong portfolio of relationships across agency holding companies (esp. Havas, IPG, Omnicom) and premium luxury/brand advertisers.
- Proven ability to independently open doors, close complex deals, and deliver against sales quotas with full pipeline ownership.
- Commercially savvy with strong analytical and strategic planning skills to optimize sales approaches and performance.
- Proven consultative, solution-oriented seller with strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Deep understanding of digital media, programmatic advertising, and mobile-first solutions.
- Self-starter with high emotional intelligence who thrives in a fast-paced, agile, and entrepreneurial environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within SEA to meet with clients.
