Job summary

A leading recruitment agency seeks a B2B Sales Executive to manage sales in the fresh produce sector. Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure consistent sales revenue.
  • Manage sales activities with wholesalers and distributors within the fresh produce sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Engage regularly with clients to promote additional products and boost sales performance.
  • Handle sales planning and administrative tasks related to the sales process.
  • Meet or exceed established sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct market research to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
  • Possess experience in supermarket sales operations.
  • Be proactive in lead generation and business development.
  • Basic knowledge of fresh produce is an advantage; however, strong sales skills and customer service orientation are essential.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management on an ad hoc basis.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) sales or a business development role.
  • Diploma or Degree in a relevant field; qualifications in Sales or Information Technology are advantageous.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the food trading industry.
  • Proven success in sales, ideally within the food industry or a related field.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
