Job summary

A recruitment firm in Singapore is seeking a dynamic sales professional to build relationships with corporate accounts and drive sales, particularly in the marine and oil & gas sectors. The ideal candidate should be independent, fluent in English, and possess a Class 3 license. Daily customer visits are essential to meet sales targets. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in wire ropes and rigging equipment, Marine, Offshore, Oil and Gas is preferred.
• Willingness to work hard to hit sales targets.
• Possession of Class 3 License and own car.

Job Description & Requirements

• Foster strong business relationships with new/ existing corporate accounts and ensure consistent business follow ups.

• Carry out product promotions to market company’s products and capabilities.

• Participation in trade shows to generate new sales leads.

• Keep abreast of the latest development in technology and changing customer requirements and expectations.

• Take ownership of tasks and responsibilities and maintain a high level of commitment and work ethic while carrying out duties.

• Do cold calls and call for sales appointment.

• Focus on going out to visit customer to get sales on daily basis.

• Report to director on sales visit on a daily basis.

• Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned

• Coordinate development of all aspects of quotations and proposals

• Assist the division sales manager develop sales strategy to improve market share within assign territories/market segments

• Provide on job training to new hires/junior coordinator within own division on ISO standard and established work procedure

• Provide support to sales department on all aspects of customer quotation

Job Requirements

• Preferred to have relevant experience in wire ropes and rigging equipment, Marine, Offshore, Oil and Gas

• Willing to work hard to hit sales target.

• Independent, outspoken, pleasant personality.

• Fluent in written and spoken

• Possess Class 3 License with own Car
