Our client is an MNC chemical trading company in Singapore. The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales and marketing activities for Engineering Plastics and Polymers across the Asia Pacific region. This role requires strong coordination with internal and external stakeholders, financial acumen, and relationship-building skills to support business growth and strategic initiatives.
Reporting to: Senior Manager
【Responsibilities】
- Drive sales and marketing activities of Engineering Plastics and Polymers across the Asia Pacific region.
- Establish and manage credit lines, conduct financial analysis of customers, and ensure credit control aligns with company policies.
- Coordinate with overseas offices to support existing and potential customers and expand sales opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers; plan and strategise with them to achieve both short- and long-term business goals.
- Manage pricing activities, including regular updates from suppliers to customers/distributors on a weekly or monthly basis.
- Conduct semi-annual reviews on sales budgets in collaboration with suppliers and distributors.
- Prepare and submit monthly sales reports or ad hoc reports as required.
- Build strong relationships with customers to create synergy and maximise business share.
- Support sales presentations and product grade introductions to customers.
- Manage and coordinate customer support activities, ensuring alignment with the principal’s product marketing strategies and objectives.
- Ensure regulatory compliance in all relevant areas of operation.
- Work closely with the principal to achieve assigned sales targets and manage customer pricing in line with fixed pricing lists.
- Handle outstanding invoices and be the key contact for customer complaints.
- Provide market intelligence and share insights with the team.
- Coordinate with agents, technical service teams, and distribution partners to manage end-user relationships and promote brand presence in the region.

【 Requirements & Preferences 】
(Must)
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of regional experience in sales and marketing in Engineering Plastics, Polymers, or the Chemical trading industry
- Strong understanding of B2B sales and distribution channels in the Asia Pacific region.
- Experience in the import & export business (forwarding & trading activities)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and a high-level presentation is required
- Willingness to travel for business needs (around 1-2 times per quarter) within the Asian region
(Advantageous)
- Experience working in a Japanese company would be ideal
- Ability to join by September 2025
