Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Sales and Marketing of Engineering Plastics & Polymers in the Asia Pacific region.
• Set up credit lines, review and analyze the financial status of customers, and manage credit control according to company requirements.
• Coordinate with overseas offices for existing and potential customers to expand sales.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers.
• Plan and strategize with suppliers to achieve the company's short-term and long-term goals.
• Obtain monthly or weekly pricing from suppliers to customers/distributors.
• Conduct half-yearly reviews on sales budgets set with suppliers/distributors.
• Prepare monthly sales reports or as required.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to maximize business opportunities.
• Support sales presentations for new product grades.
• Manage and coordinate customer support activities authorized by the principal for the assigned customer base, and oversee personnel to maximize profit and growth.
• Ensure activities comply with regulations within the boundaries of the marketing strategies/objectives.
• Support the principal in achieving the sales budget for assigned customers according to the fixed price list.
• Manage outstanding invoices and customer complaints.
• Provide market intelligence and share insights within the team.
• Manage end-user relations by coordinating agent activities, technical services, marketing, and distribution in the area.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Polytechnic Diploma in any discipline.
• Experience in import & export business (forwarding & trading activities) preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with high presentation skills required.
• Knowledge of Engineering Plastics and Polymers is a plus.
