The Sales Engineer – Professional Audio acts as a technical resource, supporting the sales team with in-depth product knowledge, system design expertise, and customer consultations. This role involves working closely with clients across various applications, including live sound, recording studios, broadcast and corporate AV, to ensure seamless integration of professional audio systems.
Responsibilities:
Technical Sales & Support
Advise clients on audio solutions and system configurations.
Conduct product demonstrations and technical evaluations.
Assist in proof-of-concept trials.
System Design & Integration
Develop system diagrams and proposals.
Ensure compatibility with existing infrastructures.
Optimize acoustics, signal flow, and performance.
Training & Customer Support
Provide technical training to clients and partners.
Address technical concerns during pre-sales.
Guide system integrators for smooth implementation.
Industry Engagement
Stay updated on audio technologies and trends.
Build relationships with key clients and industry professionals.
Represent the company at trade shows and training events.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of related B2B sales experience in the Pro-Audio industry.
Strong knowledge of professional audio equipment (mixers, DSPs, microphones, AoIP solutions like Dante, AES67).
Experience with system design tools (EASE, Crestron, Q-SYS Designer, AutoCAD).
Strong interpersonal, communication and business development skills.
Salary: up to S$7000
