Senior Sales Engineer

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Senior Sales Engineer:

Job Responsibilities

1. Conduct sales activities, including customer prospecting, presentations, follow-ups, and closing sales.
2. Handle inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins.
3. Analyze cost estimations against actual project costs, ensuring budget accuracy and control.
4. Manage customer relationships, review contracts, and assess terms and conditions.
5. Identify and develop new business opportunities and markets.
6. Plan and implement marketing strategies to enhance sales performance.
7. Conduct market research to monitor industry trends and business environment.
8. Set sales targets and forecast potential projects and orders.
9. Perform cost estimation for electrical products, such as switchboards.
10. Coordinate with internal and external teams on drawing approvals, quality control, engineering, and delivery schedules.
11. Issue invoices for completed projects and follow up on outstanding payments.
12. Assess product capabilities and ensure they align with customer requirements.
13. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
14. Adhere to Quality Management System procedures for compliance and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
2. Possess 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the electrical engineering sector.
3. Experience with switchboards/panels (marine or industrial) is an advantage.
4. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
5. Must possess a valid Class 3 driving license and own a vehicle.
6. Willingness to travel as required.

Additional Information:

1. Salary: Up to SGD 4,800 +AWS +VB (2 Months)
2. Working Location: Tuas Crescent
3. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.15am to 5.45pm
