Job summary

Google Singapore is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to protect enterprise and user data. You will lead security assessments, design reviews, threat modeling, and security tooling across SaaS and cloud platforms, partnering with engineers to fix vulnerabilities and harden systems.

You will mentor engineers, scale automated security processes with AI, and drive risk-informed decisions for complex third-party SaaS integrations while maintaining a strong security posture for Google’s products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with security assessments or security design reviews or threat modeling.
• 5 years of experience with security engineering, computer and network security and security protocols.
• 5 years of coding experience in Python, Go, SQL, or JavaScript.
• 1 year of experience leading teams in a technical capacity or leading technical risk analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end security strategy for high-risk third-party SaaS platforms and drive solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers on security controls.
• Architect and engineer SSPM solutions using AI/ML to reduce toil and increase visibility.
• Lead cross-functional security assessments and ensure SaaS security remains resilient.
• Influence the SaaS security roadmap with policies and security controls adoption.
