Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) in Singapore is seeking a Senior/Executive/Engineer, Rolling Stock Projects to develop specifications for rolling stock and depot equipment.

You will review design submissions from manufacturers and depot equipment suppliers, work on passenger trains and related systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability, operation and maintenance of rolling stock and depot assets.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
• At least 3 years of working experience in design; manufacture; testing and commissioning; or maintenance of rolling stock, depot equipment, or E&M systems.
• CAD and/or project management experience is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and resourceful.

Responsibilities

• Develop rolling stock and depot equipment specifications.
• Review design submissions from rolling stock manufacturers and depot equipment suppliers.
• Work on projects including passenger trains, specialised track maintenance vehicles and depot equipment.
• Improve reliability, operation and maintenance of rolling stock and depot equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and domain experts from manufacturers and suppliers.
• Explore innovative engineering elements of rolling stock and depot systems.
