Job summary

United Overseas Bank Ltd is seeking a Senior Officer for Business Risk & Control Management on a 1-year contract. You will monitor regulatory developments, coordinate compliance programs, and support audits across Retail Banking and Wealth Management segments.

Strong MAS and FAA knowledge, plus stakeholder management, are essential. Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in compliance or risk roles within banking, with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Compliance, Risk Management, Law, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of MAS regulations and FAA requirements.
• Experience in compliance monitoring, assurance reviews and audit management.

Responsibilities

• Keep abreast of regulatory developments and assess impact on the business.
• Coordinate compliance policies and guidelines with business units and functions.
• Develop and operationalize sales assurance controls and regulatory initiatives.
• Coordinate audits with regulators, internal and external auditors; prepare trend analysis.
