Job Function:
- The RF Product Development and Test Engineering group develops test solutions for design verification of highly integrated RF transceiver IC and modules.
- We work with Design, System, Foundry, Program Management, Yield, Reliability, Marketing, Sales and Manufacturing teams to create, commercialize, and support RF products.
Major Responsibilities:
- Develop Test solutions on Automated Test Equipment (ATE) including HW design and Test Program development.
- Evaluates, characterizes, and develops Test solutions for Qualcomm RF Products, including Characterization plan development, first silicon debug, device characterization, data analysis using statistical techniques.
- Interfaces with various cross-functional teams (e.g. Design, System Engineering, Customer Engineering, Quality Engineering) to drive product meet customer sampling criteria and bring test solutions in the production program to improve the yield, test time, and quality.
- Experience in analyzing specifications, creating test plans and test execution is required.
Basic Qualifications:
- Min 3+ years of experience in semiconductor testing.
- Hands on experience in Teradyne UltraFlex development is preferred.
- Strong understanding of RF transceiver or analog devices. Strong working knowledge of RF transceiver measurement techniques such as noise figure, gain/power, ACLR, Linearity, phase noise, etc. System level knowledge is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Semiconductor manufacturing process.
- Knowledge with statistical analysis software package and techniques, quality, and reliability testing. Experience in Six Sigma Statistical Process Control is a plus.
- Highly motivated, fast learner, team player with good communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure independently and with good initiative to overcome technical challenges and meet project schedules.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
