Job summary

POET TECHNOLOGIES PTE. LTD. invites an experienced RF/Microwave Engineering leader to define and drive the design strategy across photonic and semiconductor product lines. You will set technical direction for antenna, matching network, and high-frequency interconnect architectures.

You will mentor engineers, resolve complex RF challenges with HFSS/SIwave/Q3D/ADS, and align roadmaps with business priorities while representing RF capability to customers and partners worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, RF/Microwave related field.
• 10+ years of RF/microwave design experience with proven leadership.
• Deep expertise in EM simulation tools (HFSS, SIwave, Q3D, ADS).
• Hands-on experience with RF measurement equipment (VNA, antenna far-field systems).
• Strong understanding of impedance matching, S-parameters, EMI/EMC, and RF fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead RF/microwave design strategy across product lines.
• Provide expert guidance on RF/EM simulation to resolve complex challenges.
• Lead RF measurement and validation programs including S-parameter testing and far-field characterization.
• Mentor SI/PI, hardware, and packaging engineers to preserve RF performance.
• Resolve critical RF issues including impedance mismatch and EMI/EMC compliance.
• Drive RF design for new product introductions and cross-functional roadmaps.
• Author and review RF design standards and specifications.
• Represent RF capability with external partners and customers.
• Track emerging high-frequency protocols (100G/200G/400G/800G).
• Mentor junior RF engineers and build RF depth across the org.
