Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in Singapore is looking for an experienced Retail Leasing Manager to oversee a portfolio of retail leases. This role involves negotiating leases, managing tenant relationships, and providing strategic business insights. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Real Estate and have at least 5 years of retail leasing experience in a sizable shopping mall environment. Job description

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of retail leases, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Lead negotiations for new leases, renewals, and expirations, and coordinate the timely preparation and execution of all lease-related documentation.
  • Monitor and assess tenants' sales performance and provide strategic input on long-term tenancy planning and space utilization.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with tenants, acting as the key liaison to address queries, concerns, or operational issues.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement leasing strategies, optimize tenant mix, and achieve rental revenue and occupancy goals.
  • Proactively source and recommend new retail concepts or international brands aligned with the mall's positioning and target demographic.
  • Support and guide team members by providing oversight, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure departmental objectives are met.
  • Execute negotiations with potential tenants to secure favourable lease terms and contribute to overall asset value enhancement.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in retail leasing within a sizeable or well-established shopping mall environment.
  • Strong market knowledge of retail brands, including international and luxury concepts.
  • Independent, results-driven, and possesses strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
