Job summary

World Mode Singapore focuses on integrated retail consultancy, delivering Talent & Executive Search, recruitment, outsourced staffing and HR solutions across Beauty, Fashion and Lifestyle sectors. This role drives strategic growth, client acquisition and end‑to‑end recruitment delivery in a fast‑growing market.

You will lead multi‑team efforts in business development, talent engagement and operational excellence, shaping scalable capabilities and partnerships for the business and its clients.

Qualifications

• CEI (KAH) qualification is mandatory.
• 7–10 years of relevant professional experience in recruitment, staffing solutions, business development or workforce services.
• Proven track record of acquiring clients, building recruitment businesses and delivering commercial results.
• Strong knowledge of the Singapore retail industry, particularly Beauty, Fashion, Lifestyle or related consumer-facing sectors.
• Experience leading recruitment consultants, talent acquisition teams, client servicing or sales operations.
• Understanding of Singapore employment practices, HR operations, manpower regulations and employment agency compliance.
• Practical knowledge of retail operations, staffing models, sales performance and customer service management.
• Established professional network within Singapore's retail industry.
• Strong commercial, financial and analytical capabilities, including business forecasting, pricing, negotiation and profitability management.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic business development and commercial growth initiatives to drive revenue, gross profit and sustainable growth.
• Identify, acquire and develop new B2B clients within Beauty, Fashion, Lifestyle and broader retail sectors.
• Build relationships with retail brands, HR leaders and industry partners; manage client pipelines and forecasts.
• Oversee recruitment delivery across permanent placements, executive search, temporary staffing and outsourced solutions.
• Lead recruitment strategy, talent sourcing, screening, placement and client relationship management.
• Drive client success through HR and workforce solutions, service delivery and operational performance.
• Develop partnerships with retail associations, educational institutions and training providers to expand the ecosystem.
