Provide respiratory care services to patients with cardio-respiratory diseases and disorders by assessing patient’s respiratory status, recommending, implementing and evaluating appropriate therapy.
Plans, evaluates and implements diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services to aid and assist the physician in the diagnosis and management of patients.
Responsible for the inventory, care and maintenance of respiratory related equipment and assists with the general functions involving the Respiratory Therapy Department.
Job Requirements:
Degree from a recognised school of Respiratory Therapy, preferably with Registration for Respiratory Therapists (Certification Exam).
Certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is preferred.
At least 2 years of adult multi-disciplinary critical care experience.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare workers and demonstrate a willingness to take on challenges, innovative and well-motivated to apply and share knowledge and skills.
