Job Description:
- Provide respiratory care services to patients with cardio-respiratory diseases and disorders by assessing patient’s respiratory status, recommending, implementing and evaluating appropriate therapy.
- Plans, evaluates and implements diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services to aid and assist the physician in the diagnosis and management of patients.
- Responsible for the inventory, care and maintenance of respiratory related equipment and assists with the general functions involving the Respiratory Therapy Department.
Job Requirements:
- Degree from a recognised school of Respiratory Therapy, preferably with Registration for Respiratory Therapists (Certification Exam).
- Certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is preferred.
- At least 2 years of adult multi-disciplinary critical care experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare workers and demonstrate a willingness to take on challenges, innovative and well-motivated to apply and share knowledge and skills.
