Job summary

A leading architecture firm in Singapore is seeking a Resident Architect to supervise architectural and related works. The ideal candidate should have an Architectural Degree recognized by the Board of Architects (BOA) Singapore and at least ten years of construction supervision experience in local healthcare or institutional projects of significant complexity. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure project success through effective management and supervision.

Qualifications

• At least ten (10) years of construction supervision experience of local healthcare, institutional projects, or projects of similar complexity of minimum S$200m.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Employer and Consultants Team with supervision of architectural and related works.
• Manage the Project including progress, quality, variation/cost, environment, health and safety controls.
• Monitor architectural works by Contractors to facilitate project completion and inspections.
• Report critical issues and propose solutions.
• Liaise with Consultants to resolve technical issues.
• Inspect and oversee onsite duties.

Job description

Responsibilities

• To assist the Employer and Consultants Team to carry out supervision of architectural and related works;
• To assist Employer and Consultants Team to manage the Project, including progress control, quality control, variation/cost control, environment, health and safety control, etc;
• To assist Employer and Consultants Team to monitor and coordinate architectural works by Contractors to facilitate TOP, project completion, handover and CSC inspections;
• To report any critical and/or major issues and propose possible solutions to Employer and Consultants;
• To liaise and coordinate with Consultants to resolve technical and/or interfacing issues with Stakeholders, Consultants Team, Contractors and Direct Contract Vendors;
• To liaise with Architect, lead and monitor on site duties assigned to RAs/ RTOs, inspect, resolve & report as directed by Employer/ Architect.

Requirements

• The Resident Architect (RA) shall possess an Architectural Degree recognised by the Board of Architects (BOA) Singapore;
• He shall have at least ten (10) years of construction supervision experience of local healthcare, institutional projects and/or projects of similar complexity of minimum S$200m.
