Job summary

EVOLUTION RECRUITMENT SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Researcher to lead early-stage Data Science and AI research at TRL 1–3 in collaboration with Homeland Security stakeholders. The role emphasizes formulating research questions, designing experiments, and translating findings into proposals.

You will review academic literature, identify gaps, and mentor junior researchers while working with ambiguous data and stakeholder input to advance toward Principal Investigator responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience defining research problems, designing experiments, and validating hypotheses.
• Strong Data Science / AI / ML fundamentals and Python skills.

We are looking for a Senior Researcher to conduct early-stage Data Science and AI research at TRL 1–3, working closely with stakeholders in the Homeland Security domain.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong experience in early-stage research, preferably TRL 1–3.

• Background as a Research Scientist, Research Fellow, Research Engineer, University Researcher, or similar.

• Strong ability to review research papers and identify research gaps.

• Experience defining research problems, designing experiments, and validating hypotheses.

• Strong Data Science / AI / ML fundamentals and Python skills.

• Comfortable working with ambiguity, limited data, and stakeholder-facing environments.
