Job summary

E-PLOYMENT CONSULTANCY is seeking a qualified research professional in Singapore to conduct microbiology, molecular biology, and analytical chemistry experiments, while ensuring quality data and compliant laboratory practices.

You will collaborate with scientists, project leaders, and cross-functional teams to support animal nutrition and health product development, with a focus on robust data collection and scientific reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree/Master in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Animal Science, Life Sciences, or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on lab experience with microbiology, analytical chemistry, tissue culture, molecular biology, and statistical data analysis.
• Strong laboratory, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• 5-day work week; MNC Organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory experiments in microbiology, analytical chemistry, tissue culture, and molecular biology following established protocols and scientific best practices.
• Perform microbiological testing, microbial culture maintenance, cell culture assays, molecular biology analyses, and analytical chemistry evaluations.
• Support the development, optimization, validation, and troubleshooting of laboratory methods and assays.
• Evaluate new ingredients, formulations, technologies, and scientific concepts for animal nutrition and health applications.

Research & Laboratory Activities

• Conduct laboratory experiments in microbiology, analytical chemistry, tissue culture, and molecular biology following established protocols and scientific best practices.
• Perform microbiological testing, microbial culture maintenance, cell culture assays, molecular biology analyses, and analytical chemistry evaluations.
• Support the development, optimization, validation, and troubleshooting of laboratory methods and assays.
• Evaluate new ingredients, formulations, technologies, and scientific concepts for animal nutrition and health applications.

Data Analysis & Scientific Reporting

• Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data using appropriate statistical methods to support sound scientific conclusions.
• Prepare technical reports, study summaries, presentations, and scientific documentation, including recommendations that support project objectives and decision-making.

Collaboration & Project Support

• Work closely with scientists,project leaders, cross-functional teams, and external partners to support research and product development initiatives.
• Support project execution by delivering quality data and completing assigned activities within agreed timelines.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

• Follow laboratory safety, biosafety, chemical hygiene, EHS, GLP, SOPs, quality requirements, and applicable company policies.
• Maintain laboratory equipment,inventory, and workspaces in a safe, organized, and compliant manner while contributing to continuous improvement and scientific excellence.

Job Requirements:

• Degree/ Master in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Animal Science, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of recent hands-on laboratory experience with practical exposure to microbiology, analytical chemistry, tissue culture,molecular biology, and statistical data analysis.
• Strong laboratory, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Passion for scientific research, continuous learning, and translating research outcomes into practical solutions for the animal nutrition and health industry.
• 5 day work week.
