A postdoctoral scientist position is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Leslie Beh at IMCB.
The Beh lab seeks to develop cutting-edge CRISPR-Cas technologies to uncover the biological functions of RNA modifications. Dysregulation of these modifications has been linked to cancer, neurological disorders, and metabolic disease. We will determine the mechanisms by which RNA modifications and CRISPR-Cas systems operate by drawing upon diverse techniques, including protein engineering, biochemical reconstitution, genomics, and cell-based experiments.
