Job summary

A*STAR Institute for Human Development and Potential (IHDP) is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to lead end-to-end planning, coordination and delivery of research initiatives in Singapore. The role includes governance contributions to the PMO and ongoing improvement of project management processes.

Responsibilities cover managing multi-stakeholder projects from initiation to completion, tracking budgets, risks, and timelines, and preparing governance reports for leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in R&D or related fields.
• Proven track record in planning, risk management, status reporting, budgeting, and stakeholder management.
• PMP certification (or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of local research landscape and biomedical ethics regulations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of R&D projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, risks and quality.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders; establish communication plans and milestones.
• Track tasks, milestones, risks, resources and budget; prepare progress reports for PI and stakeholders.
• Manage project change control and governance reporting for leadership decision making.
• Support PMO governance and drive process improvements in project management practices.
