Senior Research Fellow, Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation (Contract)

The Centre for Population Health Research and Implementation (CPHRI) is a centralised platform for population health research, innovation, implementation and evaluation activities in SingHealth. CPHRI aims to seamlessly leverage data and technology to guide and support population health initiatives and accelerate the implementation of research findings in care delivery and improvement.

You will support the work of the Population-based, Unified, Learning System for Enhanced and Sustainable Health (PULSES) Centre Grant as well as other signature research programmes in the centre. You will assist the Principal Investigators on developing grant proposals and study plans. You will engage internal and external collaborators, supervise the junior research staff to perform data collection, analysis and interpretation, and assist with preparation of abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and reports. You will oversee the process and quality of the study execution while keeping track of timelines and budget. You will lead a team of junior research staff and provide technical supervision.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Social Science, Biostatistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Economics or related academic area
  • At least 5 years’ experience in population health research
  • Candidates with expertise in implementation science will be preferred
  • Strong quantitative or qualitative research skills and proficient with advanced data analytics software (e.g. SPSS, STATA, SAS) or qualitative analysis software (e.g. Nvivo)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Highly motivated, independent and able to work in a dynamic environment

Work arrangements: This role offers hybrid work arrangements, providing the flexibility of working remotely and in the office.
