Job description

A qualified candidate will be self-motivated with strong technical and analytical skills, and possess a practical, hands-on approach to engineering development and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage daily operations of the tool and establish effective preventive maintenance procedures (Electroplate, Wet clean/etch, Dry Etch, Anneal, CMP, CVD or PVD, etc.)

  2. Systematically troubleshoot equipment-related issues and perform corrective maintenance

  3. Drive continuous improvement projects (CIP) to enhance process quality and reduce costs

  4. Establish preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting guides

  5. Set operational specifications and provide technical training to relevant staff

  6. Manage preventive maintenance schedules and adopt best practices to improve MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) and MTTR (Mean Time To Repair)

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering

  2. Preferably 5-7 years of hands-on semiconductor experience, including tool maintenance and operation

  3. Ability to communicate effectively across departments at all technical levels

  4. Self-starter, dependable, and highly motivated

  5. Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills (e.g., RCA, DAMIC, DOE, FMEA)
