Qualifications

• At least 1+ year of professional software development experience.
• Full stack development across frontend and backend.
• Proficiency in Java, Node.js, Python, TypeScript, and React.
• Strong OOP fundamentals with clean, tested code.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD.
• Awareness of code quality metrics and security frameworks.
• Bonus: cloud technologies (AWS) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Learn domain knowledge in aviation and weather systems via on-the-job training.
• Collaborate with researchers and end-users to translate requirements into software.
• Design, build, and maintain modular microservices-based systems.
• Develop features and prototypes with UX best practices.
• Oversee end-to-end software delivery from ideation to deployment.
• Advocate for DevSecOps, shifting security left in pipelines.
• Promote Agile practices to deliver value early.
