Job Position: Research Assistant – Electrical & Electronics Engineering

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Research Assistant specializing in Electrical and Electronics Engineering to support the development of a multi-camera system. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and prototyping the hardware, firmware, and software of a multi-camera control system.

Responsibilities
  • Design, assembly, and configuration of electronic components
  • Install and integrate cameras, microcontrollers, and other hardware elements into prototype
  • Conduct functional testing
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including software developers, mechanical engineers, and researchers
  • Document experimental setups, test results, and troubleshooting procedures
  • Support iterative development
Qualifications
  • Proficient in using electronic tools such as soldering stations
  • Proficient in microcontroller programming environments (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi)
  • Familiar with CAD software and electronics simulation tools
  • Knowledge of signal processing and sensor calibration techniques
  • Familiarity with camera SDKs and APIs (e.g., FLIR, Basler, IDS)
