Job summary

JR Life Sciences Pte Ltd is seeking a Nutrition/Regulatory Specialist to join the team in Malaysia. The role focuses on ensuring compliant product formulations, supporting QA, and handling regulatory submissions for health supplements.

The candidate will provide scientific support for marketing activities, develop educational materials, and train staff across departments. Remote-friendly, with a strong emphasis on cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in nutrition or regulatory roles within health/wellness industry.
• Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Dietetics, or related discipline.
• Familiarity with Health Sciences Authority regulations and ASEAN health supplement guidelines is a plus.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Dynamic, proactive and resourceful with strong multitasking.
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
• Experience in mentoring junior staff is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with OEM manufacturers and R&D teams to ensure product formulations comply with local regulatory requirements, industry standards, and market demands.
• Support QA processes to ensure finished products meet company specs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in product registrations, listings, and regulatory submissions to authorities and platforms.
• Provide scientific and technical support for social media campaigns, digital marketing, retail promotions, and KOL collaborations.
• Develop scientific advertorials, product write-ups, educational materials, and content for online platforms.
• Provide technical support to Sales & Marketing by addressing product inquiries from customers.
• Conduct internal staff training sessions and external product training programs, seminars, or workshops.
• Conduct product presentations, talks, livestreams, and educational sharing activities.
• Participate in industry exhibitions, health events, campaigns, and other corporate or marketing activities.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties or responsibilities assigned by Management.
