JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Regional Sales Manager is a full time and in person position. The Senior Regional Sales Manager will drive sales growth across Asia for a leading Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) company specializing in marine services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engineering, commercial and business background, established relationships with major shipping companies and ship managers, and a passion for building client trust. This role requires a dynamic, extroverted professional who is ready to travel extensively and adapt to business needs across diverse Asian markets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve regional revenue targets across North Asia, South Asia, and other assigned territories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including major shipping companies, ship managers, ship owners, charterers and other marine service providers.
- Identify new business opportunities and work with internal technical, finance, and operations teams to tailor service offerings. Help with accounts receivable as needed.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
- Lead the negotiation and closing of contracts, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, client needs, technical and regulatory changes and competitive landscape impacting the marine sector.
- Collaborate with the Sales Head and cross-functional teams to forecast sales performance and report regularly on KPIs.
- Ensure client issues are resolved promptly and escalate as necessary to internal stakeholders.
Promote a consultative, solutions-driven sales approach aligned with the company's values of quality, integrity, and customer excellence
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Marine Technology, or a related field.
- Masters in Business Management or Finance preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or account management within the maritime or TIC industries.
- Strong existing network of customer relationships with ship owners, ship managers, and marine service decision-makers.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving regional growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Energetic, extroverted personality with a client-first mindset.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Asia (up to 50-70% as needed).
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Fluent in English; additional Asian languages are a plus
