Job summary

Hitachi Rail Singapore seeks a Senior Testing and Commissioning Engineer to lead testing activities for railway signaling systems. You will coordinate with project management, system engineers and field teams to ensure on-time, safe handover.

The role requires an engineering degree or 10+ years in railway projects, hands-on test equipment experience, and readiness for night shifts and varied work hours. Strong English skills and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Railway System projects will be considered in lieu of degree.
• Strong analytical, organizational and teamwork skills.
• Hands-on experience with test equipment (multimeters, scopemeters, etc.).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Willing to work night shifts and follow project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate testing with project management, system engineers and other stakeholders.
• Plan and execute testing and commissioning activities for railway signaling systems.
• Maintain documentation (test procedures, reports) and ensure timely progress updates.
• Liaise with customers during Testing & Commissioning, Migration, and Revenue phases.
• Organize readiness reviews and manage action plans for system performance.
