Job summary

The Land Transport Authority in Singapore is seeking an Executive / Project Engineer, Rail Control to lead control system activities for MRT projects. You will oversee design reviews, testing and commissioning while coordinating with contractors, designers, and stakeholders to ensure safety, quality and progress.

Responsibilities include managing suppliers, monitoring deliverables, and assisting the Project Manager with risk, cashflows, instructions, variations and claims.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Team player who is analytical, resourceful and result-oriented.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Appreciation of interface constraints across civil, electrical and mechanical works.
• Willing to perform occasional night works including weekends and public holidays.
• Candidates with more years of relevant experience will be considered for senior positions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Control Systems for Singapore MRT projects, coordinating design, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Manage contractors delivering supply, design, manufacture, installation, test and commissioning.
• Oversee design reviews, on-site testing and commissioning.
• Monitor project deliverables, safety, quality and progress.
• Assist Project Manager in risk assessment, cashflows, instructions, variations and claims.
• Collaborate with contractors, designers, architects, stakeholders and appointed Railway Operators.
