Job summary

Singapore General Hospital is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager for Patient Support Services (RADSC) to oversee Radiology frontline operations and ancillary staff. You will supervise day-to-day functions, plan service improvements, and coordinate staff across departments to ensure efficient patient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree with at least 6 years' experience in healthcare operations.
• Strong analytical, supervisory, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated, results-oriented and focused on service excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the day-to-day operational and administrative functions of the frontline services.
• Support strategic planning to achieve high levels of efficiency and effectiveness across RadSc services.
• Serve as liaison between management, clinicians and staff.
• Plan and ensure successful implementation of new services and facilities.
• Manage space planning and renovations related to frontline services.
• Review policies and procedures related to frontline services and update as needed.
• Shortlist, interview and recruit ancillary staff.
• Plan deployment of Patient Service Associates across Radiology frontline service counters.
• Oversee deployment of ancillary staff across modality services to ensure seamless operations.
• Develop staff competency and capability to deliver excellent service to customers.
• Plan and manage staff career advancement; conduct appraisals and guidance.
• Conduct regular communications to update staff on practices and protocols.
• Manage staff conflicts and disciplinary issues.
• Achieve performance targets for the division.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
