Job summary

Mount Alvernia Hospital in Singapore is seeking a radiography professional to provide imaging services in the Diagnostic Imaging and Cardio-Vascular Laboratory. You will perform CT, ultrasound, mammography, and other radiographic examinations, assisting Radiologists and doctors, and ensuring equipment is well maintained.

Requirements include a Diploma from the UK College of Radiographers or BSc in Radiography, AHPC registration, and at least 3 years in an acute hospital.

Qualifications

• Diploma from College of Radiographers (UK) or equivalent.
• AHPC registration.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in an acute hospital.
• Computer literacy.
• Willing to cover on-call duties.
• 5.5 days work week; Sundays and Public Holidays off.

Responsibilities

• Provides radiography services in the Diagnostic Imaging and Cardio-Vascular Laboratory department.
• Conducts special examinations such as CT Scan, Ultrasound, Mammography, BMD, Fluoroscopy, Angiography and Theatre Radiography.
• Liaises with and accepts advice from the Manager.
• Assists the Radiologist and doctors in the imaging process.
• Assists in the care and maintenance of Ultrasound and X-ray machines and radiographic equipment.
• Participates in departmental activities such as quality assurance and performance appraisal.
• Attends and contributes to departmental staff meetings.
• Supervises and directs activities of departmental staff when necessary.
• Participates in on-call duties.
