Job summary

NIPPON BUILDERS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Quantity Surveyor to manage tendering, budgeting, and cost control for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.

You will prepare quantities, compile tender submissions, call quotations, evaluate subcontractors, monitor cash flow, and liaise with consultants and clients to finalise accounts and claims. Degree/Diploma in Building or Quantity Surveying required; minimum 3 years' relevant experience; able to work under tight

Qualifications

• Degree/ Diploma in Building/ Quantity Surveying.
• 3 years relevant experience.
• Able to work independently.

• Able to work under tight deadlines with less supervision.

Responsibilities

• Check tender documents for completeness and update tender amendment and corrigendum.
• Check for discrepancy and raise tender query.
• Perform measurements and prepare Bills of Quantities.
• Prepare and compilation for tender submission including calling of quotations, pricing, compilation of PQM, post tender questionnaires.
• Prepare project budget and cashflow.
• Calling of subcontract quotations, preparation of cost comparison, reports, negotiation, recommendation to award and preparation of subcontract agreement.
• Liaise with consultants and clients for monthly progress claim and monitor against cash flow projection.
• Evaluation of subcontractor’s claim and certification of payment.
• Track and submit variation orders, liaise with consultants for assessment.
• Liaise and negotiate with consultants and client for finalization of accounts.
• Any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Contract Manager & management.
