Job summary

A leading construction firm in Singapore is seeking a professional to prepare project tender documents and manage pre-tendering activities. The ideal candidate has a Degree/Diploma in Building/Structural Engineering or Quantity Surveying and at least 2 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, particularly with aluminum and glass installations. Strong negotiation and cost estimation skills are essential. This role requires someone who can work under pressure and handle responsibilities meticulously.

Qualifications

• Experience with aluminum windows and doors, metal wall claddings & glass curtain walls.
• Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.

Job Descriptions

· Preparation for project tender documents & contracts

· Participate in the pre-tendering activities with client, architect and project managers and raising relevant pre-bid queries from the given tender

· Negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices and terms

· To perform cost estimation, quantity take-off, preparing BOM for project during tender & construction, sourcing for supplier & quotation, verifying claims & preparing progress & variation claims

· Coordination with other departments and subcontractors

· Ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

· Degree/Diploma in Building/Structural Engineering or Quantity Surveying

· Min. 2 years’ relevant experience in construction industry

· Experienced in the field of aluminum windows and doors, metal wall claddings & glass curtain walls.

· Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PPT, Excel, etc)

· Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
