Job summary

A dynamic company is seeking a Tender Manager to oversee various project cost evaluations and manage tenders. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in contract management and quantity surveying, demonstrating strong negotiation skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Qualifications

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily search across all portals and identify tender opportunities to participate.
  • Studying tender specifications and drawings to identify and highlight potential risk for the company.
  • Preparation of tender quotations including taking-off, materials / subcontractors outsourcing and costing. ·
  • Analyse project cost, including equipment, material and labour with past purchasing records.
  • Evaluation of price comparison and cost summary for management to review
  • Coordinate with various personnel for the compilation of project cost estimates
  • Conduct cost analysis for the project to ensure the overall value is enhanced. Control project scope to meet project objectives to enhance project deliverables and key work activities.
  • Responsible for administration of project budget, cost control and sub-contract and main-contract including Variation Order (VO).
  • Project price negotiation and analysis
  • Identify other potential claims based on review of the contract deviations
  • Handle issues including extension of time, terms and condition, loss and expenses claim etc
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Performs other ad hoc duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Possess at least a Diploma in quantity surveying/ relevant engineering discipline
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience contract management, M&E or ELV project
  • Familiar with contract negotiation
